Keith has been busy introducing new pieces to his line of handmade, modern furniture. I always had an interest in making things even at an early age. Spending time in my father's garage cutting and drilling small pieces of wood to make totem poles during my primary school years. My experiences in College while training as a Secondary Manual Arts teacher consolidated some previously learnt basic hand skills, however my skills in traditional woodwork developed when I started to specialise in teaching 'Furniture Woodwork'. Living in the remote North of WA meant that the only option for advancement was reading the more technical woodwork journals then practising the skills for many hours in the workshop. This period of my life is still one of the most influential. Moving to the Southwest 12 years ago finally meant that I had easy access to a variety of timbers and the ability to interact and share skills and knowledge with other craftsmen.
